We calculate the loss induced in a single-mode rectangular optical waveguide by the presence of a second waveguide, perpendicular to the first, which crosses over the first waveguide at a variable distance d.  利用矩量法导出Vlasov辐射器端口处各种模式模系数(振幅)的计算方法,并利用此方法通过数值计算研究了斜切形Vlasov辐射器的反射特性,得到了辐射器端口反射系数和斜切角度及直径波长比之间的关系。结果表明斜切形辐射器具有很小的反射系数,并从反射特性上为辐射器结构参数的选择提供了依据。  相似文献

为得到按单面辐射方式布置的管肋式空间辐射器的排热特性,建立了相应的数学模型.采用数值模拟方法分析了管内流体温度、肋片几何尺寸和等效热沉温度对辐射器排热特性的影响,得到了不同参数值下辐射器单位面积排热量以及特定参数范围内的辐射器肋片最佳宽度和肋片效率.数值模拟结果对辐射器的工程结构设计以及空间站热管理方案的优化分析具有一定的参考价值.  相似文献

文章结合声阵列在智能雷系统中的应用,提出了用立体五元声阵列对声目标进行定位,将智能雷中用于预警的传感器也参与到定位阵列中来,这样就在不增加传感器的条件下实现了市体阵列对声目标的定位。文章推导了定位公式和误差公式,并对结果进行仿真分析,与平面阵相比取得了较好的效果。不但提高了精度还降低了声阵列的盲区。  相似文献

In this paper, we present the design of a Polynomial Time Approximation Scheme (PTAS) for the Grade of Service Steiner Minimum Tree (GOSST) problem, which is known to be NP-Complete. Previous research has focused on geometric analyses and different approximation algorithms have been designed. We propose a PTAS that provides a polynomial time, near-optimal solution with performance ratio 1+. The GOSST problem has some important applications. In network design, a fundamental issue for the physical construction of a network structure is the interconnection of many communication sites with the best choice of the connecting lines and the best allocation of the transmission capacities over these lines. Good solutions should provide paths with enough communication capacities between any two sites, with the least network construction costs. Also, the GOSST problem has applications in transportation, for road constructions and some potential uses in CAD in terms of interconnecting the elements on a plane to provide enough flux between any two elements.  相似文献

以纳米量级金属履带矩形光栅为模型,研究了表面增强喇曼散射的特性.针对TE模的入射光,采用耦合波原理对金属表面的衍射场进行了讨论,并用数值计算方法讨论了光栅周期、光栅深度等参量对表面增强的影响以及增强因子随第一级瑞利系数的变化关系.结果表明:在入射光波长为700 nm、光栅周期p=400 nm、 光栅深度d=150 nm、占空比为1/3、入射角度为10°时,获得最大增强,增强因子G可达102.  相似文献

 从实验上研究了矩形波导栅慢波系统的色散特性及其耦合装置的驻波系数,用分布加工的方法分别制作了矩形、燕尾形、梯形3种不同槽形的矩形波导栅慢波结构模型和带输入输出结构的矩形波导栅慢波结构实体模型。采用谐振法测量它们的色散特性和驻波系数,实验结果与理论计算值和模拟值吻合良好。  相似文献

This article describes a reduction formula for the computation of multivariate normal probabilities first developed by Plackett. The method is recursive and, despite very promising results, seems not to have been implemented before. The rectangular dielectric waveguide is the most commonly used structure in integrated optics, especially in semi-conductor diode lasers. Demands for new applications such as high-speed data backplanes in integrated electronics, waveguide filters, optical multiplexers and optical switches are driving technology toward better materials and processing techniques for planar waveguide structures. The infinite slab and circular waveguides that we know are not practical for use on a substrate because the slab waveguide has no lateral confinement and the circular fiber is not compatible with the planar processing technology being used to make planar structures. The rectangular waveguide is the natural structure. In this review, we have discussed several analytical methods for analyzing the mode structure of rectangular structures, beginning with a wave analysis based on the pioneering work of Marcatili. We study three basic techniques with examples to compare their performance levels. These are the analytical approach developed by Marcatili, the perturbation techniques, which improve on the analytical solutions and the effective index method with examples. T Srinivas received the B.Sc. (Hon.) degree from Nehru Science College, Hydrabad and M.E. (Int.) and Ph.D. dgrees from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan from 1992 to 1996. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical Communication Engineering, Indian Institute of Science.
